Removal of Teeth

If a tooth is severely broken down, decayed or non-salvagable, the tooth may need to be removed.

Sometimes, extractions of teeth may be needed prior to orthodontic treatment to create space in cases of dental crowding. We offer dental extractions at our practice if this is needed. We also remove wisdom teeth. However, in some situations, wisdom teeth need to be removed by an oral surgeon under general anaesthesia. A referral will be made for you if this is the case.

After-care is important. Please see our Patient Information link for “After-care information”.
